My dad finally allowed me to drive the Cadillac!  You might not understand the significance of this unless you understand that:

1. I’m an “inexperienced” driver
2. That Cadillac is a monster compared to the car I’m used to driving, dad said it was too big for me to handle 

Seeing as how the smaller car is having problems (the mechanic told my mom is was dangerous to drive ), I’ve been allowed to drive the Cadillac.  I did some practice driving on the highway (sometimes I felt like I couldn’t fit in the lane >.>) and I went to the outlet mall, picking up a pair of these Oxford heels:

I’ve been on the look out for Oxford heels since I read about them a while ago, but I usually either didn’t like the overall look/color or the price, but these were perfect! A nice shade of tan and on clearance

After looking around and seeing the charm of Alexandria, I really hope I get the job.  Plus, I think I would really enjoy the job and the best part is that it’s a job that actually requires my degree! Yay /myfiveyearsincollegewillactuallypayoff~

I’m Disoriented!!!

Wah! I usually try and keep track of blogging and visit those that comment, but lately (cause of Maple Story) I’ve been out of touch and …. forgetful ugh D: I guess multitasking is not my forte.  I feel so frazzled but let’s continue with this post.

   I’m really grateful that my family is normal. We’re not loving, but at least we support each other and do not have really big fights.

   Fast metabolism! So I can metabolize my food more efficiently!

   Doing nothing and relaxing (by nothing, I mean no plans so I can do things on a whim)

   Teaching myself how to code @.@ I think that helped me in my studies

   Bear Mountain… I don’t go out much

So I disappeared to go play Maple Story (I know, the shame of having to admit that) but I also like to add, I end up more productive when I game… I actually applied to more jobs during these past few weeks than before I started playing @.@ and still going

It’s really weird. I remember my first semester in college, I ended up a not-so-spectacular GPA (it might have been me adjusting to college life/coursework), but for the second semester, I did a lot better and brought my GPA up, despite the fact that I was playing World of Warcraft a lot… What does this mean?

It might be the fact that if I game in blocks of time, I end up doing more work cause:
a) I manage my time more efficiently
b) I feel guilty for playing games so I do more work

However, if I deprive myself of games, what ends up happening is that I just push it off, knowing I have nothing to do later, but then this continuously happens, so in the end, I get no work done.

Does anyone see any sense in this????

So Chinese New Year is coming up (Jan 23  ) and this is when my family actually celebrates a holiday.  That means a lot of cleaning beforehand (I actually woke up cause my mom was vacuuming) and now I have a neat excuse to go all OCD Time to go clean my room 

Just to evaluate my resolutions for this year, 2011:

1. Take my vitamins daily – This one seems kinda stupid, but… I really don’t put in an effort to making sure I take them and I’ve been reading more and more about the benefits/preventions vitamins offer. I just don’t want to suffer when I am old.

I’ve been eating my vitamins everyday!

2. Exercise – Not only to lose weight, but to get stronger and not feel so… weak haha

I’ve been exercising, but not as frequent as I need to be, although I do feel some muscles underneath a layer of fat =.=

3. Hobbies – Do more drawing, learn/practice the bass, become more creative with web design. I’m not a talented person, so if I can excel in one of these areas, I feel like I can have more depth as a person.

I developed some hobbies (knitting) and improved upon some (web design) but I haven’t learned how to play a bass yet 

4. Take care of my skin – Enough said. My skin is like a desert… sandy and dry….

My skin… needs a lot of work *sigh* I think I need some “miracle” products, or at least a daily routine.

5. Blog more often – I figured if I blogged more often, my posts wouldn’t turn into monsters that never end.

This one, I think I actually fulfilled! What do you guys think? 

As you can see, I followed some of my resolutions for 2011 well, some I didn’t.  I definitely believe there is plenty of time to do everything I want if I put enough effort into it, but I really don’t because of poor time management, procrastination, and a hedonistic lifestyle. So my New Year’s resolutions for 2012 are….

1. Learn better time management skills, stick to a planner, but schedule in some fun time I need to be productive!

2. Exercise! Haha, this one is a continuation from 2011, because well, I don’t want to end up weak and sickly when I’m super old =.= Or, if I ever get super old >.>

3. Be ambitious with hobbies and crafting! Lately, I want to learn how to play the guitar and violin, but I think I should learn how to play the bass first just to know i have the self-discipline to learn an instrument before I invest in more instruments.  Also, I’ve been browsing through Pinterest and I’m so inspired by their Do-It-Yourself (DIY) and organizational ideas that I want to strive for something as amazing.

4. Take care of my skin and face! This means:  daily moisturizing, applying skin-evening treatments consistently, weekly exfoliation, bi-weekly face masks, weekly cleansing face masks… omg as I type it out it just seems like so much work UGH

5. GET A JOB!! Haha this one is such an obvious one, and yes, I will make it into a resolution as a constant reminder that I need one.

6. Ween myself off technology.  I think life will be better off without the TV and computer constantly on, and I’ll be focused on hobbies/productivity.  I guess in order to make this resolution work, I’ll just start off with something like no TV/laptop for 1 hour a day (yes, I’m pretty bad these things) and just work my way down to as little TV as possible.

And so, here we come, 2012!!!
