As the week went by, I unpacked my belongings at an extremely slow pace, doing a few boxes a day (I had so many things it was overwhelming). Not to mention, I also spent some time shopping, spending A LOT OF MY MONEY (Frugality rearing its ugly head), but I bought a lot of cute things, including a $20 27in tube TV (found on craigslist), $20 coffee table which is also my dining table and $10 side table set from IKEA, all of which makes my little living room/entertainment corner 
Sorry for the bad quality, my 4 year old phone is only 1.3MP (I really need to get a new one), but it basically shows my coffee table/sitting cushions. I have moved the plastic bags since the photo was taken, so it doesn’t look as tacky lol Although I should mention that I bought the TV, but I have no TV cable…. I am not spending $17 on one so I am waiting to go home (2 weeks) until I can get one. Thankfully my friend lent me his Wii so I don’t completely ridiculous with a TV I can’t use.
As for the other 20% left to decorate? It’s the walls! All my walls are naked, and have LOTS OF pin holes in them, so I need to do some crazy beauty treatments =/ Posters? Nah, I’ll make my own decorations with construction paper (like last year) cause I am so stingy now.
So what else happened this week? Well Tuesday, I went to Tanger Outlets and got nice smelling perfume (Harajuku Lovers: Baby), but the doll takes up most of the packaging so what I was really getting was 1mL of the perfume =.= But then I got 4 Bath and Body Works Soaps for $10 (Ok, so it might not seem like such a good deal but I really like the smells, ok~?!).
Wednesday, I hung out with a friend and watched TV.
Then Thursday was an eventful day. I had been looking for a TV cause my dorm room was so huge and empty that it looked depressing , so I checked craigslist. I saw a 33inch tube TV for free, and I regrettably told my friend about it because at that point, he was bugging me to grab it because it was free. The only reason why it was free was because it was a monster and extremely heavy!! The thing was so huge, we managed to get it to his car, but his Honda Civic was not big enough so no TV 
Ironically, he was more depressed than me even though it was supposed to be for my room, but to be honest, I don’t think I would have wanted that monstrosity in my room. Afterwards, we went to the mall, and got this crazy deal on Body Shop products (5 for $30, but then I got $5 student discount, $5 coupon and 10% off), so it was $18 for 5 items! WOOT. But then I felt shitty again when I spent $24 on concealer >.>
Yesterday, I went to IKEA and bought all that furniture, then went on craigslist to find any TVs for the last touch. I called a few people, and one guy returned my call and actually had a better deal than what was in the ad. My friend drove me out 40 minutes to get it (thanks friend!) and it looks great! I borrowed his Wii and we hung out for a while, then got Pizza Hut and watched the Office.
No more spending my money, so this is the end of my shopping spree. I didn’t spend anything this summer but now that I’m here I am going apeshit buying things.
Tomorrow is the first day of classes? Am I excited? Am I scared? Whatever, just finish the year :P I still need to sort some things out before I go tomorrow though :P
was totally yesterday. So I moved into my new dorm! And it’s better than I thought, ie no bed bugs!
Originally, this girl wanted to switch with me but I don’t want to anymore cause I didn’t realize there were 2 full bathrooms, 2 fridges for 4 people and a huge ass room for myself. All the other places I lived had super small rooms, so I’m not used to this empty space in the room. I don’t have my camera, but maybe I’ll try and take pictures with my cell later.
So orientation was fine… that’s all I can say. There’s 2 more days though =.= But tomorrow is shopping at Tanger Outlets!
